From the school year 2015/16 the system of leveling children’s work, with a numerical level  was abandoned.

The new assessment criteria are derived from the new National Curriculum (2014) and are arranged in year groups, rather than levels. Each subject has a programme of study which has a number of statutory and non-statutory requirements. In assessing the New Curriculum these requirements are translated into performance descriptors (PDs) at the end of Key Stages 1 & 2.  Children will be given a final category in each subject at the end of Year 6. These are: working at the national standard, working towards the national standard and working at greater depth.

We track against these criteria each term and also use the Chris Quigley tracking system 'Depth of Learning.' Please see below for more details.
