Dear Parents/Carers and Friends,
On behalf of the Governing Body, I would like to welcome you to All Saints’ Church of England Federation, Hessle.
At our school all of our governors, staff, parents and children work as a team, building a bridge to success. We aim to provide education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourage and promote our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Friendship and Forgiveness. As part of the Christian ethos of this school our vision is that every child be happy, motivated, confident, creative and independent.
We are proud of our children, both in the high standards that they achieve and in the way they promote and display our core values.
Our Governing Body works closely with the school staff and children. We are there to make sure that the school’s performance is evaluated and continuously improves, to provide the strategic direction for the school, to ensure legal obligations are met and to ensure that the welfare of the children is at the heart of everything we do. The Governing Body are ultimately responsible for all matters relating to the school including teaching and learning, safeguarding, health and safety, staffing, premises and financial planning and accountability, but we are not involved in the day to day running of the school. We are here to support and encourage Miss Wood Executive (Headteacher) and all school personnel to ensure that children have access to an enriched education and the opportunities they deserve.
We are keen to seek the views of parents and carers. We attend open/parent evenings and other school events, so please look out for us and stop and have a chat . Partnership with parents is key to the success of any school and I hope that you will join the governors and staff in giving your full support to your child’s education.
